CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

Tangem is a high-tech company in the blockchain sector was founded in 2017, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, with branches in North America, Eastern Europe, and APAC.

Tangem started with the idea of bringing digital assets to the masses using a unique combination of a smartcard-based hardware wallet and mobile applications. Company owns and promotes the technology of hardware cold-wallet for digital assets with secure and simple UX in 220 countries today. Our customers enjoy setup time within 1 minute with the ultimate security level for digital assets on their wallet. Tangem solutions offer multi-support of a growing number of thousands of tokens by a single wallet. SBI Crypto Investment Ltd., the digital asset venture investment company wholly owned by SBI Holdings Inc., has invested $15 million into Tangem in 2019 for mass adoption of blockchain technology.

We are looking for a star in the financial worldĀ who will work closely with the CEO to perform financial tasks for the company and its clients. The successful candidate will competently carry out duties in a professional manner and in accordance with regulatory requirements, service levels and company standards.

Responsibilities:

1) Financial reporting

  • Formation of the Group’s financial policy;
  • Lead the quarterly and year-end closings, including allocations, provisions, and data checks;
  • Ensure compliance of financial statements with the local standards, contribute to data accuracy improvements, drive coordination of data between local accountants and sales, production, logistics, and R&D teams;
  • Prepare the quarterly consolidated financial statements of the Group;
  • Cooperate and deliver information for internal/external audit reviews.

2) Financial planning and analysis

  • Prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecast updates;
  • Prepare monthly financial analysis to monitor budget variance, monitor the execution of budget baselines, ensure consistency between operation results & budget expectations;
  • Ad-hoc reports and calculations for CEO, and Board members.

3) Treasury

  • Collect and check the incoming invoices to ensure that the expenses are allocated according to the correct budget;
  • Prepare the payment calendar and weekly register of payments for execution;
  • Manage the financial cash flows, liquidity, receivables, and payables;
  • Provide operational checks on financial, operational, and payroll data;
  • Interact with the banks on operational issues.

4) Corporate governance

  • Prepare monthly management reports for the Board of directors;
  • Prepare the quarterly documents pack for the investors;
  • Prepare the quarterly presentations for the Board of directors with the financial updates and present the results at the Board of directors meeting.
  • Drive coordination of Board of directors and shareholder matters.

5) International activity

  • Lead international operations in terms of financial matters;
  • Lead on global tax structuring issues.

6) Business Systems

  • ERP systems involvement in work with integrators and consultants to choose the best fit for the company’s needs.
  • Proactive involvement in the optimization of procedures and tools/systems, as well as business simplification initiatives and reporting and planning process automatization.

Requirements:

1) Gerenal:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or similar;
  • More than 5 years of experience in finance, controlling, management accounting, FP&A or Big4 (Due Diligence department);
  • Financial modeling experience;
  • Experience in fin-tech/ IT industry will be an advantage;
  • In-depth understanding of financial statements (BS, P&L, Cash Flow) & core finance/ accounting concepts, knowledge of RAS and IFRS;
  • Knowledge of basics of the consolidation of financial statements and management reporting;
  • Advanced English;
  • Knowledge of accounting system 1C, knowledge of accounting system XERO is a plus;
  • Advanced PC user: Excel, PowerPoint.
